what I need to know is the diameter of the tube where the filter mounts
please let me know

It's a big *** tube (3" all the way)... and the only one I'd go with for the ITR.

I just sold mine for 80$ shipped.

I installed an ITR aem cai into my GSR about a month ago. I love the sound. I've had a few guys ask if I had turbo because they heard the loud whistle. I just laughed. Its def. a worthwhile mod

Yeah people that dont know better ride in my car and think somthing is wrong with it cause of that whistle ("the one that goes WHOOOO WHOOO")
