I think Mike said the MIG was discontinued. Tig is nicer, but I don't think your car will outlive either.

 

yeah it is discontinued but there are still some companys that carry them.

 

I was pissed that they discontinued making the MIG headers. They offered the same performance as the TIGs, but for less. I called a bunch of places, but none had the MIGs left over.

I was going to buy a TIG for $475, but I was able to find a new one from a dealership for $375 shipped.


If its only a $50 difference then I say go for the TIG. The welds look so much nicer than the MIG. When I was pricing out the headers, MIG was over $100 cheaper than TIG.
