Sohc vtec with bolt on's. I ran 15.3 on street tires, a/c, and full interior in a dx hatch. You can find them for $500 complete if you search

If you are dedicating this car to road racing... why do you care about the 1/4 times??? There are different ways to tune for roadracing compaired to the 1/4.

What he said ....go pick up a complete d16y8 or d16z6 swap. You should be in the mid to low 15's easily with boltons.

Since he's gutted he may not even need the bolt ons for mid 15's. Low 15's and high 14's will require some tuning and bolt-ons though....
