Difference between CX and DX?
I sold my old ek hatch and I'm looking to get a 99-00 model now. I just wanted to know what the difference is between the CX model and the DX model?

lol... cx is cheaper/ less options, so if that is worse...then cx is what you are looking for...but, others who are looking for no options may want the cx...it's your cup of tea.

Re: Difference between CX and DX? (x2gold)
CX is pretty much just the car with no options at all. Therefore the weight compared to the DX is lighter due to no powersteering, power windows, power locks, etc.
So if your looking for just a racing/track car, i'd go with the CX model. thats just my opinion

Well, the dx doesnt have any of those options of that I know. And when I search for it the search thing told me too few words or some didn't match.

In short, CX is stripped, DX has some creature comforts, and until H-T will let you search for CX, DX, VX, SI, EX, EK, EG, or any other of the two letter names we all love so much, the previously divulged answers will elude most everyone.

Try searching for 2-letter words, THAT is covered on the search page.
For basicly all Civics from the 'old' century:
CX/STD = base
DX = minor options
HX/VX = fuel effeciency
LX = 4dr, power options, weak engine
EX = power options, [relatively] powerful engine
Si = power options, [relatively] powerful engine, extra suspension stuffs
The problem with Ek's is the last few years you could basicly order a CX with many options (like AC) previously reserved for the DX & above. Well only a problem if you group them as above, I wouldn't mind getting a 99-00 hatch in the color I want & AC if I had to 'settle' for a CX.
