I put on my Slicks and....
They Fit but not by much... I couldn't even fit my pinky in between the tire and Fender. I was wanting to go to the track this Fri(tomorrow) and I really want to run them. I realize coilovers would be idea, but i don't have the time and money to do it by tomorrow. Does anyone have any ideas for me so that I can run my car at the track.
I have:
24.5x8x13's on Lenso's with a 1.8inch Drop in a EG civic.
Thank You
Corey

If i was you Corey, id just hold off. Ive seen instances of fenders buckling, and also cutting up the slicks. And ive personally had a few bumpers ripped off because of the car being too low. Trust me, when your traveling at high speeds, the last thing you want is any tire problems. Try not to rush into it, id just wait and get coilovers... Remember, If you Fail to Prepare, Prepare to Fail.

Couldn't agree more. I made a pass on my 99' EK with M&H's 24.5's and one pass cut a 1/2 inch line in it. If you really want to make a pass (Trust me, I know the feeling) remove the fender and any other items obtructing in the way of the tires and go for it.

Make safety a priority and make sure you don't take any risks just to get the car to the track tomorrow. If you don't feel good about something don't take any chances.
From what I hear, everything sounds like you will make it up there. Good luck tomorrow and keep us posted on those times. Take care.

I'm thinking you're making the assumption that an EK can't be an Integra. You are correct, however I was refering to the car I had 2 years ago, which was the Civic.

Actually it is because "strange" and "apparent" are contradicting words.
No worries...just clarification. Although I could be missing something as well.
