when you are luanching and your car bogs off the line do you want to give it more revs or less revs??

more, try raising the launch rpm 1000 rpm higher.

 

better to spin a bit then to bog

 

ya i have been trying diff launches, but it bogs even when i launch at say 3k, and this is on bfg drag radials, i try 4.5k and it spins like nuts and 4k bogs a little to...

 

well raise it to 4200 or try pre loading the clutch and squezze the throttle.

 

try to feather the clutch a little when you launch at 4500. Anonther thing just dont dump it let it out at a descent rate but dont dump it, that may be why you are spining.

 

I feather it from about 7k, easier to control in my opinion...

too much spin, let off the clutch a little... not going fast enough, let it out more.

Once it engauges, floor it.

 

thanks guys, some of the ideas worked i needed to feather it a little better, i tried it in a race last night against a new evo and i won wooot woooot! and then the second race i got all excited and dumped it and spun like no other, but i caught up hehe, he still won tho, but thanks for the replies
