Default Need a new suspension - suggestions?

I purchased the car with stock shocks and nuespeeds, no likey.

I want to change the springs and shocks, but i dont autox, or race at all for that matter.

I just want the car to be lowered and ride smooooooth.

Heres what i have considered:
Springs: H&R Sports, Spoon, TEIN
Shocks:Tokico, Koni (both non-adjustable)

Help me out, I just purchased the car, this is my first mod, i dont want to start off on a bad foot...

Why don't you go with stock items, OEm parts will last you a long time and will cause the least headaches.

I see you want a drop, oh well...

did you want dampening adjustability as well?

As far as price is concerned here are the cheapest options..(not cheapest quality neccesarily.)

Tein Basic coilover ~650

Ground Control Coilovers~340
KYB AGX dampers~340.

Both should hold up, and are good quality brands. But the warranty on the KYB"s is void w/lowering

i was looking for something in the 500 dollar range, springs + shocks

i got a price on tokico blues, $173.00

i wanted to couple it with either TEIN Springs or H&R sports, would that be a good setup?

i hear tein s-tech springs are extremely comfortable for the street since its very progressive.. the lowest rate is softer than stock I think.., but the stiffest rate is pretty stiff, in the 3xx range.

My setup is H&R sports springs and stock struts. This has lowered the car but it still retains the great handeling characterics of a stock ITR. Though thats just my opinion.
