Springs Will get you a mild drop without having to worry about geometry or being noticed to much from local law enforcement

as long as you don't lower it past 2" your stock shocks should be fine. they still won't be as sporty as aftermarket shocks like Koni's though. at this point you need to decide how much performance you're looking to get out of it, and how much money you're willing to put into it. if you just want it lowered, yea just get some drop springs.

I went with H&R sport springs on my 03 Coupe and it gave me the perfect height. I did just put the springs on the front though and left the stock ones on the rear. It tightened up the steering real nice too.

yeh for comfortable daily driving all you need is shocks, and it won't lower more than 2 inches anyway. but handling will be boaty still, if u have money and want the stiffest, go with full coilovers. if not, wait till ur stock shocks blow, and then buying performance shocks will stiffen ur handling more than stock
