Default My blue smoke thread...help me out :/

My car has been smokin for a while now (light blue smoke) ... But the thing is, it only smokes at low RPMs.

If i take off while feathering the clutch slightly, it will blow a big cloud. But it stops there!

I think it might be my vavle seals, seeing ashow i did a compression test and put 210 across the board. I doubt its my headgasket cuz my fluids are OK.

Help me figure this crap out quick, im just about ready to rip[ the block down and turbo prep the **** out of it

Well yea, I mean its all good and fun.

I plan on ripping her apart over the winter when ig et my new garage constructed this October (pics will be up fo sho!)

But save me some money (THE MONEY I DONT HAVE RIGHT NOW) and let my teg live for a smaller price than rebuilding her :/

Cmon people...u guys know ur honda's...just pt me in the right direction.

Btw thx, i will go ahead and get my valves adjusted. Any clue on what prices will be with labor?

The parts will be cheap, just getting them installed is the headache if you don't know how to.

If i do get them replaced, will I need to replace them again when I upgrade my valvetrain, etc? If so id rather buy retainers, springs etc too :D

sounds like too much oil was put in at one time and the seals were blown. it happens often. its not like a gasket were you have to replace them everytime you take the valvetrain apart. but, if you were to change your valvetrain, might as well wait and do the seals at the same time. who cares if you blow smoke, just add a little oil every now and then. people don't really pay attention that much.

Hah funny you say that....at one time my friend looked at my dipstick wrong and thought it needed oil, so he added an exra 4 qtrs, which prob was 2 too many.
