Good luck trying to get rid of it. Mine is doing the same thing. Ive been trying for a week now. Supposedly splicing a ground into the wire will eliminate but it doesnt.

I guess i'll have the ecu chipped.

I've ran mine for about 600 miles with the knock sensor grounded on the thermo housing no codes. Make sure its a good ground and free of paint etc.....You can also get a Rom that eliminates the knock sensor..Mugen usually does but I believe hyperducktuning.com would be able to tell you if other also can be removed. Another option is get a 1k ohm resistor and ground that inline with the wire to the ECU (i've never tested this one)

do you have it grounded right now?? If not on the thermo housing where the other engine harness grounds go. Get a 18-22 Ring terminal and put in on the end where the knock sensor wire went and put it with the other grounds. If want to ground it some where else. Get same ring terminal, scrape the paint of where you want to ground it. Get a self tapping screw and run it thru the terminal.....
