Black engine bays! Looking for pics

Please post if you have a black engine bay and if you could tell me how you painted it.

When I yanked my motor out, I knew that I was going to paint my car in the future, so I decided to paint the bay black. I degreased it completely, then simple green, followed by lots of layers of Krylon semi-flat.

Hell yeah. My car is CW and Black engine bay, looks good that way. and Hides some of the dirt better also.

cleaned it with a pressure washer and engine degreaser

clean the engine bay, then buy the BBQ high temp piant, after that get the high temo engine clear coat to give it a gloss look.

I'd say polish it and then powdercoat it black so its got like a black-chrome look to it.

A lot of hotrodders/classic cars paint their engine bays black as well. It gives a very clean appearance and it looks great when you have polished/chrome items in your engine bay. It really makes chrome/polished parts & steel braided hoses and fittings stand out.
