Default Converting auto ECU to manual...

hey guys i have an ECU in the mail today. I ordered an obd1 MANUAL pp75 and the guy gave me an AUTO p75 instead. the number on there says xxxxx p75 A51

I am pretty sure this is an auto. However i have heard that you can convert the it to manual though. I m just trying to save me and my seller time by convert. Let me know what you guys think. Thank in advance

If you chip your ECU, then yes it'll run a 5-spd setup with the correct fuel maps and timing curves. Since a P75 uses a jumper at J1, it'll reroute all of the specs to the chip that you're running. As for the code 41, that's your O2 heater and with yoru P06 or whatever ECU you're running, it may have only looked for a 1-wire O2 sensor where as the P75 looks for a 4-wire O2 sensor.

I can convert that ECU to manual for you without chipping the ECU.

Also, P06 ECUs use a 4-wire O2 sensor. So, the code 41 problem may lie elsewhere.
