there used to be this rubber mat down underneath the pedals and it came unglued shortly after I bought the car. because I didn't know any better I threw it away. now I have a number of holes in the carpet down by the pedals. I went out to Kragen and got a $10 set of floor mats... in total I got 4 floor mats, 2 of the full size ones that went directly into the trash and 2 small square ones which I assume were for the "back seat" (del sol, HAha). These small floor mats resemble the original floor mat so I want to glue one down to the carpet in the appropriate position.


My 2 questions:

Which glue would work the best? (Something that won't smear when hot, won't smell when hot, isn't messy, etc.)

Are there any other floor mats I should use besides this Kragen one? (I haven't been able to find any OEM kinda stuff, the rubber mats are only sold along with the whole carpet as far as I know)
