what do you guys think of the dc 4-2-1 ss header? Is this a good header for a b16? I want the 4-2-1 design because of clearance issues, is there any other companies that make one for the B16?

Im using a GReddy 4-2-1 SS header. Fits really well, looks good. It sits about even with the oil pan. Havent scraped it yet using H&R Race springs.

Way cheaper than the DC SS header too.

Generally how much lower are the HP gains as compared to a reasonably priced 4-1 header?

Maybe 2 to 4 hp at the top end. But you'll see more performance gains with the 4-2-1 in the bottom and midrange. 4-1 headers make power at 6k +

im using a DC 4-1 header. makes alot of more power up top. the only problem i have is the header sits really low and its got quite a few scars on it now. overall great fit great sound great improvement.

SS headers are crap. they look cool when you first install them, then they look KINDA cool when they start to turn blue/purple, but then they burn and turn black and look like a piece of ****. go Ceramic. It stays nice and silver forever.

Or at least until you get rock chips and the underlying mild steel starts to rust.
