Toda C's, cam gears to tune them down...you'll need new valvesprings at the least...and a fuel upgrade...I am a turbo guy, but that should get you in the right direction

Ever been over to clubsi? i'd start in the NA forum over there. Toda C's/JUN 3's are wild cams...you're going to need a valvetrain upgrade like drag said. I'd check it out though....to make sure things go ok the first time around.

And the single most important part of All Motor - TUNING!!! I may make 197 whp, but my torque curve looks like the Millenium Force at Cedar Point... I am getting tuned this weekend and hopefully we'll be able to smooth it out substantially. The point is, get something that works with your setup. For Toda's, the Godspeed ECU works very well, and a VAFC can be used to dial it in precisely since not every engine operates the same exact way. For JUN, dont get that fuggin JUN ECU, get a Hondata and you'll be set once its tuned. That's the route I've gone and even with just a GS-R map with a little fuel added in (i need a lot more added in, trust me... I pulled 36 MPG on the way up to Canada, way too high) nets me 197 whp/130 torque on a B18C5 block/Portflow'd B16 head/JUN cams & valvetrain. HTH, and NA Tuning on clubsi.com has a lot of info, but you'll want to search for it as its been covered a thousand times... EV.

How fast do you wanna go? And how much do you wanna spend? It might be cheaper to go Turbo or SC. The SI chasis is pretty heavy so making that B16 "fast" is gunna be tough. How fast do you wanna go?

JUN III are crazy! I heard that there were some JUN type R's at buttonwillow that kicked the **** out of the Toda type R's. you'd need to build the head a bit, valves, springs, retainers, cams, cam gears, maybe port polish. and ecm. It's the way to go but watch for clearance problems. I'm getting the cam this winter I can hardly wait....

For 4 grand? All motor??? 12's?? WTF??? Okay... let me think..... maybe if you gut all your interior, remove your passenger seat, remove AC and PS, then start cutting up your frame to remove even more weight and then drop a H23 or H22. That should be around 2500 for the motor if you do the install yourself. Then get Lexan windows. After all the cutting and gutting hopefully you'll knock off 500lbs. Other then that, I've never seen a stock chasis SI coupe run 12's with the b16A while NA. I dont think its possible. And for 4 grand... i doubt you could even do it w/FI cuz you'd need big boost and your internals wont handle that. Read the May 2000 Super Street and see how they sent 10 grand to just to run 14.3 If you wanna play..... you gotta PAY!
