The VAFCII works with Ivtec.
Power enterprise also has a piggyback with ivtec compatibility.

that was the thread i started and i think it expired. I still don't know how to hook the damn thing up. its sitting in my garage. the directions are only for jdm engines, and im not sure which wiring diagrams are the same for jdm and for usdm. If i ever get it in my car i'll tell you if it works

where did you find the wire diagram for it? so I assume the original V-AFC doesn't work with I-VTEC?

the orginal V-AFC does not work with i-vtec however the VAFC2 does....to wire the sucker...all you gotta do is get a ecu harness diagram from either a Helms manual or the net and find a map to the harness of the Vafc2....its not too hard, had to do the whole harness from scratch for my friends S2k w/ his VAFC a lil while back....
lets get some real numbers on power gains or quarter times. This will be interesting. I am surprised that an apexi rep didn't trip over himself to tune it for you. What greater selling feature than to dyno tune one for a customer and let word of mouth do it's job. I am surprised at Japanese tuners for there seemingly lack of interest in supporting their products over here!
according to chris from clubrsx..he said hondata yielded better gains than the vafcII..however i thikn the vafcII would be a better (and cheaper choice) since everyones cars will have different mods having the abilty to fine tune it to your specific mods is the best
When I installed mine it was pretty easy once I figgured out which japaneese engine my usdm was simmilar to. It has pictures of the ecu plugs. Just match yours to the jdm and start splicing. YOu won't notice any power untill you tune.
