Why JDM
Im probobly gonna get lots of hatemail but why is everyone so obsessed with JDM. Yeah some of it looks good and works better but hey were in USA. I just wanna hear why everyone wants their car to look Japaneese. I dont dislike it, its a whole lot better than putting euro tails and neons under your civic, just wondering why the obsession. IMO make your car look good to your liking.

Re: Why JDM (BigaCustoms)
some people enjoy the fact that their **** isnt tampered with by US regulations. i.e. restrictor plates, etc. also as you said it looks better, and often performs better b/c, again, it hasnt been tampered w/ by US regulations. for enignes anyway
as for other components, any Engine component would be better to have JDM if you had a JDM swap in ur car, so you could keep it all standard. but for anything else (if there is anything else) its probally the satisfaction that when they are at the track, they can say "hey, i spent about $50 more b/c i imported it from Japan"
EDIT: oh, and if ur proud to be an american, u know, u like ur USDM b/c its in the US, realize ur driving a japanese car and not an american car

Re: Why JDM (soundbomber)
- Keep your threads TECH related (or at least try to contain some tech in them). This is Honda-TECH.com If you have non-technical questions, they might be more appropriately suited for Appearance/Cosmetic or GDD. We feel that you all know what a “tech” thread is and don’t need it spelled out for you.
