I have a 99 dx swapping in a 2001 ls motor, I'm using the dx harness but when I try and plug the harness up to the distributor it doesn't fit so do cut off the dx plug off the dx distributor and wire it on the b series distributor and plug it to the dx harness?

Anyone have a wire diagram that could help me out with this?

 

yeah you can change the plug, it should be color for color so you shouldnt need a diagram

 

Check to see if you can unpin and repin the harness plugs before cutting them.

 

but the integra has 9 wires and the dx has 8 where do I put the other wire do I just leave it hanging and tape it up?

I haven't personally dealt with the OBD2B 00-01 Integra parts. I do know that the have an immobilizer built in the ECU which might have something to do with the distributor wiring but I'm not sure. If I had a Helm's for the 00-01 Intregra I would help you out. You might have to switch to the OBD2 96-99 Integra distributor for the wiring to match up. Hopefully someone with a similar setup will see your post and clear that up. Good Luck.
