ey guys i have a 2000 civic ex coupe and i swapped a jdm B18 in it everything was going great until we found out that the jdm B18's distributor wont work cus it cant plug into the harness obviously i converted from OBD2 into OBD1 how do i make the distributor work?? wat my mechanic did in order for the B18 dist. to plug in was that he pulled out the SOHC internal dist. and used the B18 dist. shell for it now the car idles but there's like hesitation and lag the motor dunt function normaly weird, nebody ran into this problem yet?? any input will be greatly apreciated thanks in advance later.........

 

i say use the distributor that came with the engine. and rewire it straight to the ecu. worked for me... i dont like the idea of using a civic distributor on a teggy motor...
