i think it would be cheaper to go b16 considering most places sell complete swaps, unlike for the b18a.

if you go b18a, your gonna have to buy everything separately which might take longer than just receiving a b16a swap.

first off, which b18 engine are your referring to? i think my numbers are right

b16a (1st gen): has 160hp/110tq
b18a (integra gs/ls): has like 130hp/121tq
b18b (integra gs/ls): has like 140hp/127tq
b18c (gsr): has like 170/130
b18c5 (type r): has 195/130

i dont like the zc for the fact taht it requires so much different parts from so much different motors, plus u get more hp out of a b18a then a zc at the same boost.
i would say a gsr is a good motor to boost

well, i haven't worked on boosting the zc just yet.

if you want to run low to mid 12's, your gonna have to do a lot of custom work which means more money.

gsr is a good motor but you'll have to do alot of extra work: obd 0 conversion, finding a cable tranny, axles, shift linkage, mounts.

personally, i'd go b16a complete swap (b18a swap would cost the same but you'll have to work harder to find the necessary parts).

with the b16, you run mid 14s-to low 15's all motor. small amount of boost like 5-8psi, you might break into mid to high 13's

from then on, its pretty much custom work.

if your looking to go 12's get a b20 motor .. You might want to see the thread in the for sale forum with the teg that runs 12.5 all day long on 9 psi and a b20 motor... keep in mind this teg is heavier than a little rex. So keep it open. It all depends on what you want to do.. Also jdmvetteater built a sohc swap in a teg that ran 12's with 18 in rims... again my suggestion would be the b20
