anyone have a picture of the backside of a spindle mount wheel????

i don't have any pics, but i know what they look like. Is there something in particular you want to know?

 

how does the brake system work? as in the rotor..is it on some sort of hub? and also.. is the wheel in any way "attached" to the hub? does it have some sort of "fingers" on it??

 

The wheel has the bearings in it and it fits directly on the spindle. The brake rotor bolts to the back of the wheel and the caliper mounts on the spindle. I didn't understand how they worked either until we got them. It's pretty simple though really.

now..im about to order these wheels from jegs.
should i just ask them about a brake kit to go along with the wheels or ?

 

All of the brake parts will come with the spindle kit. Are you using Strange spindles? It should come with the caliper, rotor, and pads. We run the nuformz rear suspension kit which uses Strange parts. Make sure you know which spindle you are using before you order the wheels, Strange and Lamb are different.

my fab guy is getting the "axle tube", heim ends and a few tabs which shouldnt cost all that much.

hey are you building a straight axle or a independet suspension?... let me know i have some caliper brakets cut already to mount the strange single piston calipers on if needed..
