Rochmond Spool
I'm considering buying a Richmond spool for my Cable Tranny B16. Just wondering if anybody has them installed. I do drive this car on the street, and I am aware of the down side of having a spool on the street. Thanks for any and all help...

Should be pretty easy to install if you've ever had a trans apart before. Rich mond has a history of making good parts, you shouldn't have a problem. I had a spool in my street car for the last two years and I was OK with it at first, but after a while, all the driving problems and axle problems it introduces were enough for me. I pulled the trans last week to fix a reverse problem and ordered a quaife to put back in it.
So basically it is more then a hassel then helpful..Like when I did my swap I took out the AC, when summer comes and I take a girl out shes like damn it's hot....and of course they don't like the windows down...Anyways...That's a little of topic...I just see how much cheaper they are then other LSD's...But of course the cheapest way out isn't always the best...Thanks for your help!!

That's exactly what I found out, which is why after two years of fighting the spool on the street, I bought a quaife. If you want one, get in touch with Tom at http://www.camp1320.com/ and tell him I sent you.
