Default PLEASE!! Need help ASAP, trouble shooting Alpine SEC-150R alarm

My Alpine alarm has decided to act up on me today for no particular reason. problems are as follows,

*alarm is not auto arming (it is set to)

*will not let me enter programing mode

*remote locks and unlocks doors but LED will not blink to indicate armed status(but will come on for about 5 seconds when doors are opened)

*parking lights will not flash either(but do when alarm is set off)

*popped hood and alarm went off, turned off alarm and removed wire from hood pin. every time i try to reconnect the wire to the hood pin, alarm goes off and parking lights flash

I can't figure out what it might be. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Your alarm is in valet mode. Take it out of that mode and it
all will work okay.

im have the same alarm and my car is not autoarming!?!? everything else seems to work perfectly. led, parking lights, siren. I have read the instruction manual and it said to push that button near the fuse box they installed. the led tells me im not in valet mode, but it still doesnt auto arm. any ideas? do i have to reprogram something from the remote? thanks
