i need help with my python alarm
ok peoples, i was doing major work on my car and the damn alarm kept goin off so i disconnected the horn of my alarm. Now that everythin is done, my alarm works but i can't page it with my remote nor can i disarm or arm my alarm. my horn don't even work. there is no noise what so ever, i know i resetted my alarm system. please help me. I got a python alarm system. come on honda tech people. i gotta disconnect and connect my battery just to start my car everytime. thank you in super advance. holler back dud.
It sounds like you disconnected the antenna. That's assuming that your alarm even has power, which you can probably verify just by finding your shock sensor, shaking it, and watching for the LED.
What Python alarm is it?
I assume the alarm kept going off because it was programed for "passive" arming, there should be a "valet" switch/button under the dash someplace.
Do you not have an owners guide for the alarm?
I need the model of Python alarm to be of any help, there are about 30 of them, and the way they work from one model to another can be quit different.

DAMN IM BURNT I DON'T KNOW THE MODEL FROMT WHAT I REMEMBER BEFORE THROWING AWAY THE MANUAL IT HAS A 9 IN FRONT OF THE MODEL NUMBER. I DIDN'T THINK I NEEDED IT ANY MORE. BUT BASICALLY MY LED WORKS. IT IS JUST THAT MY HORN DON'T WORK NOR CAN I DISARM OR ARM THE ALARM AND THERE IS NO NOISE. FUSE IS GOOD.
The only one with a 9 is the Python 900, here is the owners guide http://www.directed.com/guides...5.pdf and the install guide http://www.directed.com/guides...5.pdf
Let me ask you this, you said that you "disconnected the horn of my alarm", [siren]
did you cut the 2 wires, [red and black] at the same time while the alarm was going off?
When you reconnected the siren, are you sure you used the same wires, a siren is not like a speaker, you can't hook it up backwards.
You may have to reprogram the remote/s, in the install guide, [page 29] you will find "Transmitter/Receiver Learn Routine"
If you are not sure that you have a Python 900, find the alarm brain, the model number will be on it someplace
