Well, as few know, someone tried to steal my car 2 weeks ago, they decieded to take my VAFC instead. While also smashing my steering column badly. Steering column is back together, and i installed a honda S200B. St00pid sent me a map to use, so i burned it to the rom, and put it all in. Well, the car will start for a second, and die. You have to give it just a hint (1/8th) of throttle for it to not die, and it just runs like complete ***. What do you guys think is the problem? i checked all my wiring from when i uninstalled the VAFC, and it all seems ok. Not throwing any CEL's. anyuthing i should be looking for?

 

here my setup:

'90 honda Accord
Jdm h22a
DSM 450 CC injectors
Hondata s200b
P28 ECU

Car ran decent on the vafc hack...

 

its most likely the hondata map is too rich.

check your tps voltage, i had a problem with mine after installing my hondata unit.

 

whoever tuned the car should have you previous map...just get a copy of it and reburn it. If you never got it tuned...then get it properly tuned on a dyno.

I just need to find a decent basemap and go from there. There aren't any tuner's in Tucson, so it makes it alittle harder.
