Manually controlling AC fan. how to?
hey all. well my ac is dead in my 91 civic si and i want to turn the ac fan off from working or remove it completely. how do i go about doing this? can i just remove the fan, relay, compressor ect......? i think the easier way would to splice a 12v switch into the lead wire for the fan but where is it and what does it look like? Super street did a article Dec 99' called " 52 best time and money saving tips you can use" i have it but it doesn't tell you didley

all you do is unplug the everything that is connected on the ac fan...and hide all the connectors using zip ties or something from dangling..or you can keep it and try splicing it from the regular fan ...just make sure you connect the right polarity so the fan can turn the right way..if wrong polarity...it would just turn the other way around..
i think i'm just gonna remove it completely. There's no benifit to it right? also i'm thinking about swapping to a electric fan. so the regular cooling fan will prolly go too.
