Im doing a essay on "process analysis" for one of my college classes, and i chose to do it on changing a timing belt..so basically im done but i need to some help defining these following words on their (official)functions are:
1)Timing Belt
2)Crank
3)Impact gun
4)Alternator
5)Tensioner Pulley
6)Cam gear
7)water pump

2)Crank: A device for transmitting rotary motion, consisting of a handle or arm attached at right angles to a shaft. (taken from webster)
3)Impact gun: pneumatic wrench
4)Alternator: belt driven Electrical generator
5)Tensioner Pulley: device used to maintain constant tension on a pulley (don't you mean "belt tensioner"???)
6)Cam gear: Gear used to transmit energy from timing belt to "cam"
7)water pump: gear driven pump to maintain coolant flow
