Car cranks but will not start
Basically what it says in the title. I got home after bring my brother to a friends house, I shut the car off, and then go to start it five minutes later to go get some food. The car cranks normally but won't start. It isn't heat related as even after an hour or two the same problem continues.
The car is in need of a oil change (oil is kinda low), but would this cause the car not to start?
The car is a 94 GS-R with 150k miles. The car is completely stock except for a K&N.

If you're not getting spark, then check the ignition coil. You're going to have to check the reistence in both the primary and secondary points.
How can you confuse a starter problem with a plug problem?
Car dont crank: Starter
Car cranks: Starter works
Dude....we need more info.
Unplug one of your plug wires, place it neer a ground and have someone crank the engine shortly, if you see a spark, then your ignitor is fine and you can rule that out.
Could also be your fuel pump or main relay.....do you hear the pump prime when you turn the keys to the on position?

Thanks for all the info. I ended up taking it to a shop to check it out. Ended up being the Ignitor Module, a nice $200 dollar part.
