ok guys im new to the motor swaps for hondas. im gonna help a co-worker swap in a 94 sohc vtec motor that came out of a 94 civic si and put it into his 88-91 civic dx hb.

my quesion now is what is needed to complete the swap?

i have the whole motor, tranny, linkage, ecu, axles

what else is needed? do i have to change anything on the wireharness or plugs?

you will need to change the dx(dual port fuel injection) to multiport fuel injection.check out hasport.com for wiring conversions. you might also need a few other wiring changes for the vtec conversion which http://www.hasport.com caries. the only prob is that for the hasport conversion, you need to send the complete wiring harness to them in order to make the conversion.
