:: is it possible to have a vacuum leak and still read 20-22 in HG (at sea level) ::
i am trying to help a friend figure out if he has vacuum leak or not. he thinks he does since his bov isnt working like it used to. also, he said that on cold starts his car would idle at 15 in HG but once it is warmed up it will go back to 20 in HG. is this normal? thanks in advance for your help.
build a pressure tester and listen for air leaks if you think he has one.
The vac change is normal when the car is warming up.

this is kind of related, but is it normal for a turbo honda to idle at ~15inHG? or is it a sign of a vacuum leak somewhere? also, take into consideration that i am currently in florida for the summer and the temps are 80-90*F and the humidity is around 70-80%. thanks.
