Unorthodox underdrive crank pulley= Alternator belt change?
Like the topic says, I have a 95 GSR and i was wondering do you need to change the alternator belt out or no? Need to know ASAP....TIA...
Yes, For my Unorthodox single belt crank pulley. They give you the part number for the new belt, you have to replace.
Yes. I'd try everything around 4PK275 (27.5")...just buy a whole bunch of belts, see which ones fit the best, and return the rest. When I switched over to using an ITR crank pulley, I used a 30.5"/775mm belt. I'd imagine that the UR crank pulley is smaller than the ITR crank pulley.
You'll need to remove the flywheel cover to lock the crank to torque the pulley bolt on when using the UR pulley b/c it lacks the thingy for the crank pulley holder tool.

couldnt I just use a impact gun? Thats what everyone has told me so that i wouldnt have to mess with the flywheel...

Sure, why not. I just find it hard to accept using just an impact wrench b/c I'll never know how much it's torquing it down.
