If you don't have the money for a Full swap(B18C engine) just see if you can find yourself a sohc v-tec head off of a 92-95 ex. Then you can do your basic bolt-ons intake/header/exhaust - that should give you a little bit more pep without the $3800 swap from a GSR.

Tell the fat chick your riding with to get out and help by pushing. J/K.
Just do the proper maintainance on the car and you shouldn't run into that problem. (Unless she is absolutely huge).

Basically, civic(stock), fast and uphill shouldn't even belong in the same sentence. You could either go FI or drop a b series engine in it like I did. Trust me, my little clamshell can scoot her azz up hills.

That's called Honda's "famous" no torque. The only way to fix it would be to swap in a B18 .

but my cousin had some work done for me. the exhaust was changed so was the air intake and the headers. Like I said it picks up well on straight road but if on hill or grade it slows down considerably

Even with I/H/E, you won't get the power you are looking for.

FI= Forced Induction
B - Series = B16/B17/B18 or B20
B series are the twincam motors, Integ/Sol/Crv/Civic Si...Some are even VTEC (Except CRV/LS Integra), but you can even make those VTEC. Get it?
Does that help, they are pretty fast motors when put into civics/crx.
Buy 2 and give me one, you will be happy.
