DSR in San Jose?
I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about DSR in San Jose? My buddy was told to take his care there to have Hondata installed and tuned. Are they any good or do they have a website.
wow, austin hasnt responded, AMAZING!
dsr is cool, they do a decent job, cept they dont do partial throttle tuning or anything like that, pretty much just WOT tuning unlike what austin says...
so yea, my friend makes like 198 whp, but when he starts his car in the morning it sounds like a cammed domestic and dies half the time if he doesnt give it gas

Come on...you've gotta give me some credit, I've got a job here
, lol.
Lawrence will do part throttle...but you're going to be paying the hourly fee for the part throttle tuning, which can add up quite quickly. I've just had mine full throttle tuned, with a few revisions here and there. I know Lawrence, I trust Lawrence...and he'll give you an honest unbiased answer to your questions.

Lawrence does a great job. He not only tunes his car which ran an 11.2X but he also tunes Danny Trans car and he even use to tune the Hollands car as well as a few others in the all motor category. DSR also specializes in tuning top notch European cars (i.e. lots of BMW's, Audi's and Porche's) He knows his hondata and others have trusted him for years to tune their cars which cost waaaaaaay more then hondas... . Oh yeah I think he is the only N. Cali Hondata rep or has been for the past few years which also tells you that he is not new to the system.. Haha ok this is sounding like one of them infomercials but hey this is what you wanted....

the best advice I have for you is to judge the work from your own experience. People can say whatever they want to say (good or bad), but it all comes down to your own first hand experience.
Just remember that DSR is not your typical tuning shop that will spend hrs on the dyno beating around the bush till your bill reaches as high as your wallet will go. DSR will give the best results in the shortest amount of time, which is what 99% of the honda crowd requests. If you want DSR to focus time on certain aspects just tell them. Normally DSR will ask the customer what they are looking for from the tuning session and do it in the most efficient way and will state how long it will take.
Me personally, I have nothing but good things to say about DSR. Very few shops especially in the import industry have been able to estabilish such a good backing of customers and manufactors in the industry.
