oil leak with brand new motor

Default oil leak with brand new motor

just install brand new R motor and i have a major oil leak near the cam gears. car runs perfect but major oil leakage near the cam gears i check everything and can not source out my problem. anybody have any thoughts on what it could be? new cam seals new valve cover gasket everything is new...the install has went perfect until this!

It may seal eventually - that's what my leaky head gasket did after my new block was installed. Where'd you get the motor from?

check the seals and the gaskets and dab a little bit of hondabond.

Everything is torqued down right? And ALL the seals were installed the right way?

the cam seal needs to be hondabond'd......so if that was not done that is why it is leaking.....if it is indeed from the cam area....

Yeah those fugg'n cam seals will back out and start leaking if the are not properly installed......don't forget the Honda Bond

i finally realized what the problem was that i installed the cam seals the wrong way DUH!!! spring side should always point inside!!! thanks for the help!!
