Default installed 95 civic koyo al radiator ..now over heating like bitch..

hey whats up guys... i have just installed a aluminum koyo radiator made for a 95 civic into my car..... all the hoses put in and pluged the fan back in.... and now its overheating like a bitch... what could be the cause of this???!?!? its gone up to like 2 line before the "H" and im not even driving it hard at all??? and before the install i had no heating problems at all..os this radiator fucked up or something?!

any help would be greatly appreciated.

my guess would be air in the system.

it's air pockets or bubbles that are in your system. Bleed it out.

what is the best way to do that?? just drain some and add more?...never messed wiht radiators before i so i guess this is a little new to me..

bled the system and it all works fine... i had to add like another liter of coolant at least.. ... must have been a lot of air in there...

the way i bled mine, is leave it idleing it will bubble when u open the valve and let it come out, squeeze the hoses, dont burn yourself cause it sucks, but just keep squeezing until u just see pure liquid no bubbles, hope that helps.

Actually the easiest way to bleed the system is to start it with the radiator cap off and let it idle for a few minutes...itll bleed itself.

yeah thats what i did and then kept adding coolant and it was all good after that.
