How does one go about tuning a car that uses a exhaust under normal circumstances, but then runs open downpipe when racing? Is there anyway to do this besides changing maps on the ecu everytime?

well when you have exhaust on the car will run a bit richer, so as long as you don't tune agressively (high a/f ratio) you will lean it out a bit with open dp.

and no need to change maps, you'll just run a bit richer driving normally.
