Ok, I know this will generate some questions. I have an 89 hatch. I swapped in a B16A1 Sir-1 with cable trans. Well, my issue is that Cable trans with Electronical Vss sensor (b16, PW0-000 ecu) and the old motor was cable drivin. Ok, the ecu cam with the MOtor and my delsol threw codes when the vss went out. Besides spending another mini fortune on trani and ecu what other plans of attach do I have??

Ok, and the Check engine light you'll get. The ecu monitors the vss. I had a 93 sol with vss and when it went out I get a check egine light. Well I guess I need to also find out of the PW0-000 ecu is not Electronic driven Vss. I have no clue about the ecu either.
Has your car already been wired to use an electronic VSS? Because if not, you will have to use the cable driven VSS. On 88-91's the VSS is in the guage cluster and not the ecu. I have a B16 in an 89 CRX with a PW0 ecu. I'm using the cable VSS and have no check engine light for it. It all depends on your wiring.

No it has not. It's got the cable for the speedo. My only issue is that my state that I have emissions through will fail me if I get a C.E. light during inspection and emissions. It's not already wired. But it's build into the wiring harness that came with the motor. So I needed to verify that it indeed was not a vss ecu or no codes would be thrown because I was having serious though of pulling a harness out of 92 and the speedo.
