hondata tunned. now cel 1.
just had my hondata tunned.
now sometimes i get a cel 1. turn the car off and back on and it goes away. this is a civic sohc running a gsr o2 sensor. should be the same sensor though.
never had any problems running vafc hack. only now that im on hondata.
any ideas.

ya not sure, mine did it also, about once or twice a week........talked to my tuner and he thought it was kinda weird, said once it was dyno'd it should go away......it didn't but didn't seemt o cause any probs?
196.5 hp
193.4 tq.
@12 psi
so i should not worry about it then. the car seem to run like **** when it's on, does that throw me into limb mode or something.

i think i have more info on the cel 1.
i seem to have part throttle buckin in 3rd gear only, after i let off the gas. after a few times of this. it's when i get the cel 1. i have been skipping 3rd gear and have not gotten it yet.
nor 100% sure. but i think that's it. now what would cause the bucking in 3rd gear only.

that coe is for Oxygen Sensor "A" (Primary) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor. It is possible that your ecu threw the code and is now just storing it in its memory banks. That is why it is sometime on and sometimes not. Try resetting the ecu and then check for codes again.

Check that post out...talks about the hesitation. It is pretty much a part throttle tuning issue.
Did Payn do any street tuning for you? I didn't get any, he said it would be fine, but I wish he had some street tuning with my old setup.

is it throwing code 1 or is your CEL staying constant? if its staying constant make sure if its double socketed or has a zif in a socket that its completely in.
well not sure.
the cell comes one, and stays on till i turn the car off. then it's gone. but it will come back after like 20 min of driving or less.

how do i know if im in closed loop
i guess the wiring could be off, but it was working fine before i got the hondata. so that tells me that's not the issue.

You can't really tell if you are in closed loop or not without a o2 sensor gauge.
I know for a fact my car nearly never went into closed loop with hondata. It just stayed rich...the leds never bounced back and forth like they should.
Payn told me when I left it should go into closed loop after I drove for a while, but it didn't.
I think more part throttle tuning is necessary.

mine does at idle and that's it.

Yeap, mine did that to. With a stock ECU when you are cruzing at steady throttle the a/f gauge will bounce back and forth.
Never did that after tuning though.
Payn is a good tuner, but I really think he needs to do more street tuning for people.

i agree. i asked him about it, and he said he would if i wanted to, but did not think it was needed.
we drove around the block and it seemed good to go. it's really hard to tell what's going on in a few drives.
it really takes like a day or 2 to notice all the issues. i think..
im prolly going back there soon anyway. after i get the new exhaust and downpipe. plus i left my tools on his desk. wtf. haha.
