Default Does Hondata log CELs?

I've got a Hondata Stage 2B with datalogging and just recently I've been having a CEL that'll pop up while driving. I turn the car off and the CEL will go away for a while. I want to check to see what is going on, so my guestion is, does the Hondata/ECU store the CELs?

it is my understanding that OBD1 ECU will reset itself after the car is shut off, unless the problems still exist. for example, if your map sensor came on during boost, when you shut the car off, the CEL reset itself until you got into boost and triggers the CEL for the map sensor code
