Default reccomend me some speakers!

Im doing a complete revamp of my system in my 94 civic hatchback. I added an Apline 9815 HU, JL 300/4 for the mids & highs, 250/1 for a JL 10W6V2. Right now the 300/4 is powering a set of Boston Rally 6.5" components in the front and Rally 5.25 inch in the rear side panels. Im very displeased at the way these speakers sound can someone reccomend something that sounds fuller, richer, and less harsh highs.

Thanks!

You cant go wrong with MB Quarts they are great quality pricey also. If you dont want to go so pricey I would go with Alpine Type R's pretty good for what they are

He's looking for something without harsh highs. MB's can sound good with eq, but without it they scream.

How much are you looking to spend? I'd recommend the JL Xr series for ~$250. They have a nice midbass and an awesome tweeter.

The Adire Kodas are very nice also, but they are over $300 IIRC. (monstorous midbass )

Check out Polk speakers, they're awsome. The new dB series rules.

Forget all those brands and go Focal if you can afford them. I have them in my car now and will never buy anything less unless someone decides to sponsor my truck. FOCAL all the way i believe that HU has a built in EQ if i am corect

I am running the Focal Poly Kevlar series which is the second best that they make. The mids are unbelievable. They catch every beat and have the ability to play louder than you would ever want to play your stereo. The Polyglass series is also awesome. If you dont want to spend the money on these speakers trhan the only other speakers i will suggest are MB Quarts. You can get the Discuss series which is the low end MB quarts for under 100 on ebay. My buddy has these in his teg on a 300watt amp and it sounds awesome and you cant beat them for the price if you ask me

the focals are very nice, but overpriced and overrated, why spend 500 dollars on a component set when you can get the JL VR or XR series for half the price

i think u can find the polykevlar (165k2, not the lower PK model) for around $330 or so.

then again, i prefer DIY sets over BIY.
