Default pulling motor with out the trans..

i wanting to know if i could pull my motor with out pulling the trans out? the car is a 91 teg 5sp...

yeah it isnt that bad to do but putting it back in can be trickey gettin the clutch alligned

just pill it all its faster and it takes me an hour to pull the engine with a/c and power steering,if you have the right tools

i would just take it all out, but if you wanna leave the tranny in the engine bay, a tranny jack helps a lot.

I agree, I was made the same post and still I tried to do it .. it was a waste. I just ended up pulling it out and putting it together on the ground.

so how hard is it to pull the axels out thats the only part im worried about..and are there any tip you guys can give me..

A lot of the times the axle just pulls right out then others like my case all the time for me the get siezed in there and it takes you about 30 min with a Big *** pry bar and a friend with a big *** pry bar pullin on them and then finally start slapping the top of the bar like a chizel and that is how the passenger side came out.

Also just pull the whole drive train out of the car it is eaiser than just the motor just my .02.
