Default Turbo kit choices??

Hey guys, after a while of running nitrous, I've decided that I wanna go turbocharge. My car is a 94 CX with a LS/VTEC heart. I'm debating between a Drag and RevHard kit, but I've just come across the Spark Racing kit. Which one is the best? All three run about the same price range, I like the Spark Racing kit but couldn't find any info on it. So to you guys for my help. Thanks in advance for the replies!!

I've personaly seen alot of good numbers from the rev-hard.... I like there kits alot.... I would choose a revhard for a kit if i were to be in the market for a kit. Instead i am doing a custom kit....

Rev-Hard has my vote

Revhard is rather good, but I've never truly heard a bad thing about FMAX yet!

I would get the RevHard if I had to pick from DRAG, FMAX, Revhard. However, if I were you I would use that money and piece myself a custom kit. I started out with a DRAG and I've sold everything that came with the kit except for the piping which I will get rid of soon. Just my advice. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies!! The reason I didn't include the Fmax because soon I will go with Hondata. And as for the cuastom kit, a friend of mine pieced his kit together and it cost him about as much as one of the listed kit. I just don't like to chase parts around, just wanna get it "plug and play". I also know that when doing such a project nothing will be plug and play. Thanks again!!

Piecing together your own kit in the end is truly worth the hassle.

Most people claim to simply be too lazy to go custom, but in the end they sell everything and want to go bigger.

If you're like the rest of us, you'll want to get rid of your kit after a few weeks

Alright, since a lot of you guys are saying thatI should go custom kit, so what's the prefer components to make a killer turbocharge kit for a LS/Vtec engine? What turbo, intercooler, manifold, DP, and....., and also what size too?

Ive went revhard and custom, My vote goes to custom, but if you don't have much experience wiht FI, then i would go with a good solid kit to start you out. Then again you said you have a friend that went custom so im assuming he would help you out if you went that route.

Revhard was my beginner kit and i was very pleased with it. I took what i learned from that setup and applied it to the parts i chose on my new custom kit. FYI i got better parts with my custom kit and saved about $700 from my $3,200 revhard kit(last april)

I haven't seen a rev hard kit put down anything impressive. One of the guys down here ran the 1/8 @ 7.95 @ 95 with a drag kit in an LS/VTEC powered GSR.

There are many variables that play a role in power/and time. The ket to start is to have a good kit/parts, then if you have the right parts combination the power will be there. On the drag kits i woudn't buy one without upgrading the mani/wastegate. The whole this guy ran xx time with this kit gets you us where. It comes down to the qaulity of the parts, the power will be there if you do things right

A guy down the street from us is making 325/289 with a revhard kit, but thats not a reason to say revhard is the best .

Good Point...my fault...Stock bottom end, stock head, basic drag kit with Tial wastegate. I was also citing the LS/VTEC comparison because that is the motor he is using.
