Default a/f gauge

on a 5g hooking up a air fuel gauge what wire to tap into on the oxygen sensor?

White, and make sure you have a good ground on the A/F meter.

Not really. The stock O2 sensor can only tell you lean or rich, nothing more. it's not a true A/F ratio sensor. If the A/F is less 14.7:1 it sends a voltage of zero, and if it's more it sends a voltage of 1.0v. There is no linear scale. It can not tell you how lean or how rich. What you need is a wide band O2 for A/F for tuning, which the stock o2 is not.
