should i just arm it going into 2nd or have it ready when off launch also like is powershifting even advised or should i not???? this is going into my civic w/ b18b so i am curious about what i should do correctly or take advise on how to use it i was thinking of only using it after the launch and arming it when i shift into 2nd. i am not tryin to race on slicks maybe drags but most likely street tires because i want to kno what my car does on a street setup

Arm it before you stage, bring the RPMs up like normal, and launch like normal. However don't go WOT until you start getting tracion in first gear. After you go WOT in first, just keep grabbing gears as fast as you can and try not to hit the rev limiter. Don't powershift. Your RPMs will fly up much faster than what you are used to and you will hit the rev limiter. If you must go WOT right off of the launch, wire a maintained push button switch onto your steering wheel(in conjunction with the arming switch) and hit it once you start to get traction.

I used to be on the zex kit.... do not powershift revvs go up high.

There are 2 things you can do...

1.) Finish first gear (its a quick gear anyways)

then hit it right when you get into second..

2.) Or you can hit it the moment you get traction in first but that takes practice and good reaction time... revs go up fast.

Id recommend option 1 but option 2 can be good if you have good driving skills and some nice sticky tires.
