Can someone identify this plug?
OK well I had to replace my blower on my 97 EX, and while I had the cover where the ECU is off, I noticed this little purple plug which wasn't connected to anything. It was just kinda dangling there, and it is seated in some green rubber protective casing. Any ideas what this is?
That is what you use to find out what is wrong when your car throws a code you just put a piece of wire (called a jumper wire) in the two slots and put the key in the on position
thats what I was thinking too, but I've never seen anyone pull codes on a car so I wasn't sure. That would explain why its in this safe little rubber thing. Thanks man!
wat he said up there^^^
just stick a paper clip (i use the connector from the tweeters) and complete the circuit and itll tell u the code......long flash 10, short 1
