How do you relocate your hood release cable to under the hood? Can you give me a link on how to do it step by step? Or maybe post step by step on how to do it? Couldn't find it in search. Thanks for your help.

In this case explaining how to do it won't help the thief, because it's going to be under the hood anyway, At least I think it wouldn't hurt. If not can someone IM me a link or Step by Step instructions on how to do it.
Its easy.
1) Remove the cable completely.
2) Run the cable threw one of the rubber grommets in the firewall that leads to the engine bay.
3) Route cable along the edge of the hood/fender where the whiper water hoses run.
4) Run the cable over the driver side head light and under the radiator suppport .
5) Hook the cable up normaly to the latch.
This still does not stop some one from going threw the bumper cap or even through the front grill for that mater.

Yup. Why would you re-route it when thieves simply go through the front grille 99% of the time anyways?

Because stoping the 1% is worth the 5 minutes it takes to do this.
You can always build a metal channel to run the cable through so even if they do reach under the bumper or cut a hole, they won't be able to reach the cable. I did this on my old GSR, but have not had the time to make another one for my R.
