For the past few weeks my vtec solenoid has been going out every week. Every time it goes out my check engine light goes on and it throws a code 21. I looked that up and it says that there is something wrong with the solenoid. I have took it apart a few times and cleaned and reset the ecu but it still goes out about a week later after doing that. I guessing that my solenoid is just plain gone. Any suggestions? If anyone has any for sale or any ideas how to fix this then just let me know please. No Vtec Sucks!

 

Did you do the swap yourself if so just check and see if there is anything wrong with the wiring if not it is ery possible you need a new solinoid

 

get a vtec selonoid from another bseries from one of your friends and see if that works. if not then its prly some wiring problem

I actually just found another solenoid laying around in a box of extras i had. I put it on a vtec works again! Thanks for the advice and offers.
