Default New Car

Hello all HT members. Today i bought my first sports car, a 2000 FBP prelude sh and i love it. There is however a problem with the cd player. It wont play any of my cds and is giving me the error code of CD E-00 which is the System error/Focus error. The manual tells me to make sure the cd isnt scratched but it works in any other player. Any help on this problem would be greately appreciated.

Only advice I can give you is to buy a new cd player. I had the same thing happening with mine, so I just bought a new one.

46,800 miles, paid 15k for it, heres the ad in autotrader if u wanna look at it. http://www.autotrader.com/find...st=27
the guy was real nice and only problem is that he had altezzas on his car, but he still had the stock ones and gave me them. i spent 45 minutes changing them back.
BTW: reset cd player, and still no go.

just upgrade the radio to like a low model kenwood or something and be done with it, the honda audio feedback or whatever comes in the 97+ preludes is garbage, the kenwoods will play any burned cd's, or alpines or sony or whatever your preference is, and the install on those cars is hellaeasy, one of the easiest i've ever done, good luck brotha and welcome to the board

Its a fairly new car, you should go to the honda dealership and explain to them that the cd player is at fault due to a manufacturers defect,it shouldent go bad that fast, and depending on the mood of whoever your talking to they may just replace it for free.
