Anybody have their stock CD player quit working? When I put a CD in my car it gives me an error message(E-00 or 03 cant remember) and spits the CD back out. I tryed cleaning it with the CD player cleaner and it read that CD but I again tryed a music CD and it spit it back out. I called Acura to see when my car was orginally purchased so I can see if it is still under warrenty but they havent called me back yet, if it still is I will have it fixed but if it isnt is it worth paying to get it fixed?

 

This happened w/ my civic Si at about 30,000 miles, I think your screwed unless still under warranty. I got a brand new one for free whn it happened so i was

 

I am hoping that is what will happen but know the guys is saying it isnt a valid VIN? He is checking it again

 

It should be covered at ANY Acura dealership under warranty.

Maybe Mike K. or other parts guys can help you out.

I should have called when it first started acting up

 

I can't remember, but there may be a button on the bottom of the radio to resest the whole unit. I can check when I get home since my stock one is in the closet
