Help, mugen pedals kicking my a**
I am having trouble putting the mugen clutch and brake pedals on an 89 crx. I cant get the bolts to allign with the little metal plate on the back of the pedal to hold it on. Has anyone installed them before who can give me some pointers? Or can anyone tell me how they hold on in the back?
The instructions are in Japanese and the pictures suck

I have had the same problem with Euro TypeR pedals that I have recently purchased. They had instructions in Japanese and there were 2 options that I could use for mounting them. The first one was rather lame, I had mount four metal plates on every pedal and then use those plates as clips in order to mount them on the original pedal. The second option was clean and simple: drill the original pedal and screw a new on top of it. I went with the second one. If I were you, I'd get a new set of pedals or just drill and mount the way I did it
The mugen pedals are bad *** although way to overpriced if you ask me. They got nice rough surface so your foot doesnt slip off and suppposedly they have been designed to best suit heel and toe.
they do look bad assed though!

they suck azz, how is anyone expected to extract any performance from stock pedals? and besides, on hondas they're designed w/ fuel economy in mind, so u GOTS to replace them. i recommend the pep boys brand, and i should know, after having dynoed over 37 different pedal conversion kits.

naw man pep boys peddles suck ***, i had em, my foot was slippin off em everytime it rained, i wore that sucka down like it was paper man, the high perfomance carbon fiber paint scheme came off mines and looked hideous. I got a set of razos and man they feel wayyyyyyyyyyy better, my gas peddle is no longer so low that i gotta sink down in my seat to reach it and yet have the steering wheel in my chest. I want mugens but if you ask me id rather buy me a intake or something.
kahren, rightly tuned the mugen peddles can dyno well over 200hp with a 50 shot of nos that is.

I got some Sparco pedals for $30 shipped.
They bolt on top of the stock pedals, but you have to drill out the stock pedals to bolt them on.
I got them since my stock pedals were beat and the co-owner of the car couldn't heel-toe with the stock pedal setup.
